MLB Preseason

The MLB season is coming up! The regular season starts on March 25 or 26, but probably April 1. I am a Minnesota fan, so I'm going for the Twins to win it all. They have really good players like Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau, and some newcomers like Tsuyoshi Nishioka, the Twins first player from Japan. His batting average is .293 while playing in the 2006 World Baseball Classic and also being in the 2008 Beijing Olympics on Japan's team.

The standings for the MLB's exhibition games are pretty surprising. The Cardinals are doing pretty good, even without Adam Wainwright, one of their star pitchers. He got injured during the preseason. The Yankees and the White Sox are doing horrible, even though the Yankees were one of the best teams last season and the White Sox were pretty good also. Let's see how the 2 teams that were in the World Series are doing. The Texas Rangers are doing pretty bad, with a record of 9 wins and 9 losses. The San Francisco Giants, the team that won the World Series, is in 1st place in the NL (National League) with a record of 16 wins and 5 losses. The Baltimore Orioles (or as I like to call them, the Oreos copyrighted), are doing a tint bit better than last year, when they were in last place in the whole league. Also, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays aren't doing as good as last year, when they were in 2nd place in the whole league last season.

Well, as you can see, we have an exciting MLB season coming up this year, that might have an unlikely champ coming out again. Have fun watching games!
